*what am i gonna wear? will i be too warm in tights?

*am i really ready to kick o chem's butt?

an ode to my baby bestie

(seriously, how pretty is she?!)

today is my bestie's birthday. (she's appeared here and here). it's cool cause she is just a baby compared to me (in age, not behavior, ha) and we had a not-so-secret celebration. in honor of her 19th birthday, i shall list 19 neat things about her in no particular order. 1. she has the prettiest hair EVER. 2. she is the best aunt to her 3 year old niece. 3. she wants to be a kindergarten teacher, and i tell her in imaginary kiddie-land, i would want my kids to have her as a teacher. 4. she desperately wants a puppy. 5. she is the best at what she does and is the best manager. seriously, if you want to be sold a pair of jeans...go to her. 6. every once in a while she surprises me and crazy dances. 7. she doesn't like earwigs. 8. she has an average of 2 bottles of chocolate milk a day. 9. she is the co-founder of the SC (secret club) we love our secrets! 10. she loves taylor, her missionary that she's not waiting for (but she totally is and it's so cute) 11. she loves starbucks frappuccinos in the bottle, or the strawberries and creme one from the actual shop. 12. she loves moulin rouge, especially christian. 13. she loves to shop. 14. she lives vicariously through gossip girl. 15. she sings the justin bieber part in his song 'baby' and i sing the ludacris part (new from today). 16. she is so passionate about her faith (this is our biggest difference, but i respect her so much and am thoroughly enamored by her passion and self-control). 17. she likes red mango, zeppe's, lagoon, earrings and bracelets. 18. she loves twilight and harry potter (we are totally saving up ((slowly)) to go to the harry potter theme park in florida! yeah!) 19. she is the best bestie i could ever ask for.

you say mess, i say organized chaos

anyone who knows me on a more intimate level (intimate...awkward?), knows that my room is usually an abyss of clean clothes, shoes and shopping bags all over the floor. well that is just not the case anymore. i spent a large portion of last weekend cleaning and organizing my room. the results:

a closet rod full of color coordinated shirts

a shelf of perfectly folded jeans

necklaces.

so many shirts. so many pairs of jeans. so many colorful necklaces.

yep...i'm definitely a girl. and a spoiled brat in someone else's opinion (silly S just doesn't understand). you can never have too many clothes/accessories.

sometimes when you really like things...you just really like things

when i sorted my clothes the other day, i noticed that i had:

the same scoop neck tee in 4 colors

the same v-neck in 4 colors

a different v-neck in 3 colors

i guess i just like not doing wash that often and wearing really plain shirts but in different colors.
